Favourite Posts From 2012

I thought I'd put together a list of my favourite posts from last year.
In January, Poppet had a really cute haircut (sadly she's growing it again) and learnt to knit. That was nice.

In February, I did the Photo A Day challenge. Didn't complete them all, but this is one of my favourites.

In March, we made pizza and I finally shared the recipe on the blog. It really is a fabulous pizza dough, you should try it! We have it every week and Poppet has requested it for her birthday next week.

In April, I remembered my Dad. It was his birthday, though I usually 'remember' him every day. Love you Dad!

In May, we went to New York. Yay. And a double-yay for our return trip this March. We've already booked it all and that's very exciting. It will still be pretty chilly in March so we plan to visit museums and galleries (and a few shops), as we didn't bother with them last time. Our hotel is very close to the Natural History Museum and Moma which is great! This post was all about toy stores.

In June, I got all excited over The Breakfast Club again. Saw it on the big screen for the first time and had to write about it.

In July, I had a little re-think over my pricing schedule. This is still a work in progress but I'm determined that my prices will reflect the craftsmanship of each piece from now on.

In August, we went to London to see the Queen. Well, Princess Anne was spotted anyway. It was a fabulous trip and I really want to go back. I think I'd like to live in London if I weren't living in Toronto.

In September, we celebrated a year in Canada. I am looking forward to celebrating two!

In October, there was some amazing fall colour. And we actually managed to be in the right place at the right time to get some photos of it!

In November, I made a special toy for a special girl. I'm still considering taking a few custom orders from kids' art this year. It was a lot of fun! Currently working on one for my own girl for her birthday, more on that later.

And here is December. The snow came and we were very excited. It has snowed again since and the white stuff just doesn't get old for us. Not yet, anyway.

And that was the year that was. It has been fun to look back over the fun we've had. Particularly the holidays in London and New York. Here's to a new year filled with travel and fun and creativity.
Happy New Year to you all!
